These standards will evolve as we Authenticate more farms around the country. Once we have 100 farms certified, our National Standards Board, made up of volunteer representatives of stakeholders in the Authentication will take over progression of standards for the Authentication. Once we have 100 farms certified within a Bioregion then the same process will occur on a Bioregional scale. They will adapt the standards to their local bioregion and will report them to the National Standards Board who will ensure local adoption with national integration. Our goal is to respect each Bioregional Ecosystem’s biological capacity through Bioregional representation. The Bioregions are: New England, Mid Atlantic, South East, Midwest, Upper Plains, Lower Plains, Moutain West, South West, and North West.
